Other firms were also creating avant-garde like concepts which showcased a different side of man and nature that was often overlooked by everyone. Groups like Archizoom Associati and Superstudio were just two of the various firms that were delivering daring ideas and contributions to the then world of architecture. Archizoom Associati was a design studio founded in Florence, Italy in 1966, around the same time Archigram’s designs were gaining popularity in Britain. Heavily influenced by pop culture, their radical themed furniture mainly focused on introducing new ways to integrate superstructure qualities while arranging colours and geometries to create unique styles of furniture that were interesting to look at, yet strangely comfortable to use.

Superstudio was another firm founded in 1966 in Florence, Italy. This firm also played a major part in the radical movement in architecture with the various designs that they produced. Their main focus was producing works that convey different juxtapositions of material and landscape and the effects that they produced on the viewer’s eyes; as well as proportions of people and how they fit in within the monumentality of the various landscapes. They  never actually finished the one building that they started. One could say that they created “anti-architecture”: psychedelic collages and renderings, even films depicting their dreams and visions.
