It is a drive-in entertainments complex located on Leicester Square where long sloping ramps allow cars to drive all the way up through the building and park anywhere they like. The interior space is a reflection of the square outside as it is essentially a glass-enclosed version of streets and shops, where the long ramps are vertical streets. To be able to enter, an admission charge would be paid at the warmed holes in the glass skin after which you would be able to drive in and wander the ‘fairground’ freely. It is definitely a machinist paradise, showcasing the same characteristic mobile, automotive language that enlivened the Cushicle and Suitaloon 4 years later.
